Talamone
The motorboat La Fenice offers two boarding options:
1️⃣ Departure from Talamone → Giglio Island (approx. 1-hour crossing)
2️⃣ Stop at Giglio Island (choose between 3 or 6 hours of free time)
3️⃣ Those who opted for the extra stop at Giannutri depart at 1:50 PM ⏳
4️⃣ Stop in Giannutri for 1 hour and 30 minutes
5️⃣ Return to Giglio at 4:00 PM ⛵
6️⃣ Departure from Giglio heading back to Castiglione/Talamone at 5:00 PM
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Timings may vary depending on weather conditions. Always follow the crew’s instructions on board!
What to do in Giglio?
Giglio Castello – A charming medieval village located at the highest point of the island.
Note: To take the bus up to the castle, all dogs (even tiny ones) must wear a muzzle.
You can also book a guided tour with our onboard guides, who will arrange a taxi bus for you.
Cannelle Beach – The island’s most famous beach!
On foot: 1.4 km scenic walk (20 min)
By taxi: Shared taxi (4 people) – €8 one way
Amenities: Bar, beach club, free area. Ideal for families with shallow sandy waters.
Caldane Beach – Quiet and exclusive
Taxi boat available at “L’Ancora” shop (left side of the port). Ride takes ~10 minutes.
On foot: ~40 minutes (beautiful but challenging trail)
⚓ Giglio Port
Stroll among local shops, grab a gelato or enjoy an aperitif! ??
Just 150m from the port: Caletta del Saraceno, a small beach with rich marine life and the submerged ruins of a Roman villa.
Nearby: Torre del Saraceno, a medieval tower overlooking the sea.
